Privacy Notice
How this website handles the limited information it collects.
Oakhaven Cemetery is a non-profit cemetery association, and this website exists to serve the families connected to it — not to gather data. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell it.
Information you give us
When you use one of the forms on this site — to request a plot, to notify us of a burial, to submit a record correction, or simply to ask a question — we receive what you type into that form: typically your name, your email address, an optional phone number, and your message. We use it only to respond to you and to keep a record of the request.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site's server keeps basic technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser types) for security and to keep the site running. The site uses a small number of functional cookies — for example, to remember which design style you are viewing. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Burial records
The burial register published on this site contains historical and public record information about people interred at the cemetery. If you believe a record contains a factual error, or wish to discuss the listing of a record, please contact the trustees and we will review it.
How we store and share it
Form submissions are stored in the cemetery's website system and are seen only by the trustees and office volunteers who need them to respond. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We may share information only where required by law.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete a request you have submitted. To do so, or for any privacy question, contact us using the details below.
