Who may be buried here

Burial is open to residents of the community and to their families, wherever they now live. A family connection — a parent, a grandparent, a place once called home — is enough. If you are unsure whether your family qualifies, please ask; the trustees would far rather talk it through than have you wonder.

The steps to arrange a burial

  1. Get in touch with the office

Whether the need is immediate or you are planning ahead, the first step is the same — contact the cemetery. A trustee will speak with you personally; you will not be working through a call centre.

  2. Choose a plot

We will walk the grounds with you, or talk through the sections by phone, and help you find a plot that suits your family — near kin where possible, in the setting you would wish.

  3. Complete the allocation

Once a plot is chosen, the trustees confirm the allocation and the fee, and the plot is recorded in your family's name. The current fee schedule is available from the office on request.

  4. Arrange the burial

Your funeral director coordinates directly with our sexton on the date, the opening of the grave and access to the grounds. We keep the way clear so the day itself can belong to your family.

A note on planning ahead

Many families choose to select and reserve a plot well before there is any need. There is no pressure to do so — but there is a quiet kindness in it, and it spares those who follow a decision made in a hard week.

Request a plot

Use the form below to begin. There is no obligation — a trustee will simply be in touch to talk through availability, sections and the next steps.

Request the allocation of a burial plot. A member of the Board will be in touch to discuss availability, sections and fees.

We typically reply within two business days.
